Quick Escape in the Mangroves

We had a quick escape from the city in the southern part of Cebu. In the municipality of Argao, we went to one of their famous tourist destinations, the Bulasa Mangroves Beach Resort and Restaurant. I was with my boyfriend, Josh, who also enjoys the outdoors. We stayed there for one day. We stayed in one of their air-conditioned rooms, styled like a traditional bahay kubo. It costs 1500 pesos for day use. It’s good for the two of us already. The room is worth its price; it’s spacious, and there’s enough space to accommodate the two of us.

We had fun swimming beneath the gigantic mangroves. The swim was enjoyable. We were in the shade of the mangroves, and the water was cold. Moreover, we had a great time swimming and taking great pictures because it was high tide when we visited. Furthermore, they have a swimming pool that you can also enjoy if you don’t like to swim in the sea. But, for us, we haven’t tried their pool because it was crowded. We spent most of our time in the sea.

They have delicious foods. For lunch, we ate pork humba and pork sinigang. Their portions are plenty for two people to share. I heartily suggest it. I wish to try the other foods on their menu soon.

Bulasa Mangroves Beach Resort and Restaurant is a great place to visit if you’re a nature lover. Come and visit soon.
